Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Tickets | Event Dates & Schedule
The top treasured tale of Roald Dahl is coming to Broadway – the land where all the sweet dreams become a reality. Christian Borle, twice Tone Award winner, stars as Willy Wonka, the magical maestro. Besides, no one can conjure up this confectionery miracle better than director Jack O’Brien (three times Tony Award winner).
The moment Charley gets a golden ticket with a wonderful and weird destination – Wonka Chocolate Factory, he gets an exclusive chance that happens only once in life to feast on sweets he has always dreamt of. However, beyond the gates amazement awaits, since among the incredible edible treats and down the sugary corridors, the lucky winners notice that everything here is not as sweet as it is supposed to be.
A curiously specific Oompa-Loompas, an army of squirrels and a chocolate garden must be believed to be displayed in this huge new musical, which is choc-full of fancy sweets to dazzle your senses.
The debut of the musical version took place in West End, in London, where it has been on since May, 2013. Theatre Royal, Dryry Lane hosted the musical since then. The performance features music by Marc Shaiman, lyrics by Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman and book by David Greig.
